“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!” — Romans 10:15
Romans 10:14-15 asks, “how then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?”
There is nothing like the thrill of leading someone to the Lord. Whether that is a one-on-one event or when hundreds rush to the altar to meet Jesus for the first time.
An evangelist has a gift from God to preach the good news. Just like the angel in Revelation 14:6, whose purpose is to proclaim the eternal Gospel, an evangelist has been appointed, anointed, and sent to fulfill the same purpose.
Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. The word salvation comes from the Greek word Soteria, meaning to be saved from the constant harassment of one’s enemy. This salvation from the harassment of satan is a birthright granted to those who accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. Evangelism ministry is a gift from God to win those lost and wandering without a shepherd. It is also a gift from God to the individual who accepts the calling because a man can have no greater honor than leading others to the Lord.
The Gospel is called the Good News because those who hear and accept its message receive eternal deliverance from satan’s bondage. And where freedom reigns, joy abounds. A Romans 10 evangelist is one who brings the Good News of Christ’s power to restore the heavenly relationship broken by satan’s deceptive nature.
A Romans 10 evangelist travels wherever the Spirit takes him or her. The roads an evangelist may take are not always easy, but the rewards are eternal.
If God has put it in your heart to restore the broken hearted of those lost without Christ, then Globe is here to help you to begin your journey.
