Brad & Jan Thurston

Brad and Janet Thurston are veteran missionary leaders who have traveled to over 90 countries around the world sharing the Gospel. Brad moved to England in 1977 were he met and married Jan in 1979. After serving a church in Scotland for two years, they moved to Germany in 1981 working as evangelists and church planters. Beginning in 1990 the Thurstons founded Globe Mission (formerly Globe Europe), a German sending agency, and subsequently Globe Mission Schweiz and Globe UK as sister agencies with a view to promote missions in European churches and to deploy European missionaries around the world. In 2014, the Thurston’s began serving in the Globe Network from their new home in Wilmington, North Carolina. They continue their bi-vocational ministry by recruiting, mentoring and encouraging missionary endeavors around the world, while pastoring a rural congregation in North Carolina. The Thurstons have 5 children and 11 grandchildren.
