Joe and Bethany Bindeman

Most people are surprised to hear about missionaries going to France. It is surprising that only 1% of the French are Christian believers. There are over 30,000 villages in France without one evangelical Christian church and no one to share the Gospel with them.

In response to this startling situation, the Bindemans’ mission is to plant churches that multiply through relational evangelism and discipleship of the secular French in these church-less villages. While living in and among the people they seek to reach, the Bindemans strive to penetrate the spiritual darkness of France with the Light of Jesus Christ.

Joe & Bethany have been preparing for and training for this cross cultural mission for a long time and particularly for France for the last nine years. Joe was trained in evangelism and discipleship with Campus Crusade for Christ. Bethany has her Bachelor degree in Missions and is currently getting her Masters degree in Biblical Studies. Together, with their girls, they have been preparing for long-term ministry in France.
