Jorge & Rosa Gutierrez

Jorge Luis & Rosa Elia Gutierrez, were both born again in Arleta, California in the San Fernando valley area.

Jorge and Rosa, along with their daughter, Shalom, and son, Melquisedec, have been serving the Lord on the mission field since 1988 in Guadalajara, Mexico. They served as assistant pastors in San Fernando, California for six years. That went on a short mission trip to Manzanillo for 3 months, and 8 months to Mexicali Baja Calif. All this before they deciding to obey the call to become full-time missionaries.

Now Shalom and her husband are pastoring and ministros to pastors in Tepic Nayarit, and Guadalajara; and Melquisedec and Fatima are serving pastors and leaders now in Guadalajara city and its surroundings as well as participating with Jorge and Rosa.

Since 1988, they have planted a church outside the city limits of Guadalajara in a town called “San Agustin.” Then in 1996, they started a feeding program for children and families of low income in the area of “La Lagunita.”

They are currently pastoring in San Agistin and overseeing churches in four different states in Mexico: Jalisco, Colima, Nayarit and now Veracruz. They now have two more feeding program in Guadalajara area, and an additional program they are involved in through another ministry in Tepic, Nayarit.

Jorge & Rosa’s minsitry encompasses Pastoring their congregation and fellow pastors, Church Planting, Discipleship, Feeding Programs, Marriage Restoration Ministry, Street Evangelism Ministry, as well as memebers of the Leadership team of the new missionary sending agency, (Globe México) “Mission Global” in Tuxtla GTz Chiapas.

We are the Perekotiys, a Ukrainian and American family! We have been entrusted with four beautiful children: Chambers (2013), Lev (2015), Mila (2016), and Remington (2019). Our story began when we met in Ukraine in 2008. After living on the Gulf Coast of Alabama, we packed up our gang in 2018 and moved to Odesa, Ukraine, a beautiful, historic port city on the Black Sea. While visiting family in Alabama in 2022, the full-scale invasion broke out in Ukraine. We decided to remain in the US for the 2022-23 school year while supporting our partners in Ukraine through the War Relief Fund. In August 2023, we launched back overseas to share the Gospel among Ukrainians. We are based out of Bucharest, Romania, where we can serve refugees and be close to the Ukrainian border.

Through the War Relief Fund we have sent medical aid, vehicles, food, and education supplies to those in need. The needs of the vulnerable will only increase as this crisis continues, and we are committed to partnering with our friends and partners to meet those needs. We pray to use these resources to rebuild Ukraine when the war ends.

Our heartbeat has always been caring for the vulnerable and fatherless. Our vision is to see Christ proclaimed as we serve vulnerable children and families with national partners and churches. We also serve the unreached deaf community, and provide training and trauma resources for families and volunteers. Thank you for journeying with us!
