Susan & Fraga DaRosa

Since 2008 the DaRosa family has been reaching kids and families with the love of Jesus in South Brazil thru the avenue of Soccer. In 2009/2010, after going to IGM School, they left the comforts of the US to “GO” and evangelize the south of Brazil by birthing Soccer Outreaches in various areas. With Fraga having played professional in this area for 10 yrs., it has opened a big door to reach, teach, and keep many for the Lord. A start with 7 kids has turned into several different weekly outreaches, sponsored by churches there, now with about 300 attending! They have regular devotion, disciple time, mentoring programs, soccer taught; receive a meal, tutoring for school, and even a system in which they can earn donated soccer items that we ship over from the US. MANY lives have been changed by the power of Jesus, and hearts mended – as most of these kids are from abusive, single-parent, poverty-stricken, drug homes with no hope surrounding them.

The DaRosa family now resides in the Pensacola area with their 3 kids since 3/10, and they continue to return regularly for short-term missions yearly, as the Soccer Outreach programs flourish under the direction of those Fraga trained as they touch many communities. We also have been involved in speaking at Youth Retreats, Camps, and for Athletes of Christ meeting in South Brazil.

Our heart and vision is to reach, teach, and keep many for Jesus while using the talent held by Fraga in the area of Soccer and passionately proclaiming to the downcast that Jesus is HOPE and LIFE.
