About Humanitarian Aid

Humanitarian Aid Ministry focuses on a desire to help people in need and care for them. This desire to care for people in need, is coupled with the opportunity to share the love and message of Jesus.

Humanitarian Aid Ministry can take a variety of forms. Some areas are specialized in training and skills such as counseling and addiction recovery, while others require large scale organization like orphanages and feeding programs. Regardless of the specific expression of care, Humanitarian Aid Ministry lends a hand to those who are hurting with a spirit of humility and grace.

SERVING IN THE HUMANITARIAN AID FIELD

By serving in any capacity of Humanitarian Aid Ministry you will aid and render assistance to others with compassion and grace. Your range of applications is very broad, from helping individuals with daily needs, to assisting in the administration of the affairs of an organization. Humanitarian Aid Ministry is a place to use your compassion as a means to share the love of Christ.

Hear from members serving in the Humanitarian Aid field

We started Kinrick Kids at Overtoun House as a weekly outreach in 2004. Kinrick Kids now meets at Overtoun House during the school holidays and we are a Christian after school club at three primary schools. Very few of the children attend church and their needs are great! They are very open to faith in Jesus and the majority now have confessed faith in Him! As they learn more Bible stories and verses; our hope is that they will share it with family and friends. We also teach them to share the salvation message. When given the challenge to share it, we had one boy who brought in a list of 20 names on a paper that he had people sign after he shared! THANKFUL to all who support us.

Globe believes in providing hope for those who live in despair. A hope that is based in faith and tangible expressions of Jesus’ love.

Globe members are involved in expressing humanitarian aid ministry through natural disaster response, feeding programs, homes for abused and abandoned children and women, educational support, and many others. Humanitarian outreach efforts serve as a vehicle to present the Gospel to those spiritually in want, all the while addressing their physical need.

Compassion for the “least of these” is our heart, along with a goal to provide love and care without creating dependency. By holding to these principles, Globe members involved in Humanitarian Aid Ministry, have positively impacted thousands of people in crisis.

BIO

We are the Perekotiys, a Ukrainian and American family! We have been entrusted with four beautiful children: Chambers (2013), Lev (2015), Mila (2016), and Remington (2019). Our story began when we met in Ukraine in 2008. After living on the Gulf Coast of Alabama, we packed up our gang in 2018 and moved to Odesa, Ukraine, a beautiful, historic port city on the Black Sea. While visiting family in Alabama in 2022, the full-scale invasion broke out in Ukraine. We decided to remain in the US for the 2022-23 school year while supporting our partners in Ukraine through the War Relief Fund. In August 2023, we launched back overseas to share the Gospel among Ukrainians. We are based out of Bucharest, Romania, where we can serve refugees and be close to the Ukrainian border.

Through the War Relief Fund we have sent medical aid, vehicles, food, and education supplies to those in need. The needs of the vulnerable will only increase as this crisis continues, and we are committed to partnering with our friends and partners to meet those needs. We pray to use these resources to rebuild Ukraine when the war ends.

Our heartbeat has always been caring for the vulnerable and fatherless. Our vision is to see Christ proclaimed as we serve vulnerable children and families with national partners and churches. We also serve the unreached deaf community, and provide training and trauma resources for families and volunteers. Thank you for journeying with us!
