Child protection and safety is a priority for Globe. We desire safety for our children and the ones we are caring for in the context of work and ministry. Everyone is involved with children in some manner, and thusly everyone should be aware of threats to safety and well-being.

As child protection is a Globe International priority, Globe requires all Globe members to take a Child Safety Training Workshop/Course. This is an online course and as part of the initial application process. The Child Safety Training Course is also required to be repeated at least every two years for Globe members. Those involved in any ongoing work in children’s ministry (day care, orphanage, school, etc.) are required to repeat the training annually.

Child Safety Training helps to identify signs of sexual and physical abuse. Child Safety Training also serves to identify predators and/or abusers.
