Little Arms, Big Heart presents the amazing life story of Nan Weaver who overcame a disability from birth and lives life to the fullest.
The book is packed with inspiring stories from her life, her husband’s life, and the lives of her children and grandchildren. As a strong believer she offers words of encouragement and hope to those who face difficulties throughout their lives. She writes with emotion and passion to motivate others to reach beyond their limitations and be an overcomer.
This book was birthed after she had fallen and broke her long arm. She was for the first time dependent on others to help her with her every need. She was crying a lot and her daughter Betsy one day said: “Okay Mom! You need to ask God what lesson is to be learned out of this.” The next morning in the newspaper there was an article about a wounded warrior coming back from war who had both legs blown off. With much compassion she cried and said, “Lord, that’s what I want to do is reach the men and women that are coming back missing a limb.” This is how Little Arms, Big Heart book became a reality. My goal is to put it into the hands of wounded warriors in hopes that it will bring encouragement to them.
