We are seeking a volunteer to come and teach English and train our teachers in Nicaragua. The ideal candidate would be someone who has experience in various teaching settings, does not have a lot of familial obligations, and can commit to a full school year (January to November).

Requirements:
1. Loves the Lord and an active church member
2. Loves working with children
3. 2-5 years teaching experience in a preschool or elementary setting
4. Education Degree: Spanish/English Education and/or Early Childhood Education
5. Spanish proficiency (highly recommended)
6. Complete the Globe International volunteer certification program
7. Commit to volunteer between 3 months and 1 full school year

General Job Description:
1. Teach daily English classes to 5-7 year olds
2. Give English classes to teachers and local personnel
3. Assist in the professional development and training of teachers
4. Assist in extra-curricular classes: music, art, P.E., computers
5. Support the local missionaries as needed

Estimated Cost:
1. $600 – Round-trip plane ticket
2. $200 – One-time local administrative fee
3. $100 – Globe International volunteer application fees
4. $300 – Month living expenses ($200 – Room & Board with local host family & 100 Eating out, snacks, cellphone minutes, leisure/sightseeing)
