- Jan 25 Recently the main worship band travelled to a nearby village for an evangelistic outreach. It was pretty inspiring. People from Sweden, England, Germany and more all came together in this remote, unheard of little village called Bazna.
- Sep 7 It has been just over a month since my last newsletter which brings me to a grand total of 2 months of being in Oradea! Thank you all so much for the continued support and prayer! Adjusting to living here has been an enjoyable, new and interesting!
- Jul 25 I am overjoyed to report that I am in Oradea, Romania safe and sound! I cannot begin to express the gratitude I have for each and every one of you! The support has been amazing and I would not be here without you all.
- Jan 9 My goal is to go back to Oradea, Romania by the end of this year or early 2017. I will be partnering with a local church called Biserica Impact, which is led by Adi and Flori Galiger. Once in Romania, I will help with church activities!
When I was one year old, my parents moved to Bucharest, Romania as missionaries. I grew up immersed in the culture and fell in love with the country at an early age. In the Spring of 2016, I went on a mission trip with my church to Oradea, Romania. It was life-changing for me. I felt like I was actually doing something for the Kingdom of God. After coming back to the States, I discovered within me a deep longing to return. I missed everything: the people, the language, the culture, and most importantly, the ability to help. I felt like I needed to move to Romania and partner with the church that we had worked with on the trip. I felt a real peace and clarity and took the leap and moved to Oradea!
I am now living in Oradea and working with Impact Church which is pastored by Adi Galiger. I am leading the youth worship team and serving on the main worship team. I also give guitar and drum lessons and help out with other church activities. God has big plans for this church and I’m so blessed to be able to partner with a family that loves and cares for its own city and community. They’re a great example of love in action and I’m proud to be a part of this church and the work God is doing here in Romania.
