OUR GOAL is to see all of our missionaries thrive, not just survive.
This goal will be realized through each missionary having a meaningful, relational connection to someone who cares for them, can resource them, if needed, and who loves them unconditionally.
Member Care Team Member: Our member care team is comprised of fellow missionaries in Globe International. Our objectives include:
- BE A FRIEND!
- PRAY for the missionary when in communication with them and in the coordinator’s own prayer time
- Contact monthly/semimonthly/more as needed
- Offer health/stress management resources
- Offer marriage resources
- Offer retreats both Stateside and around the globe
- Visit each missionary on their field of service
The “heart” of member care is an individual’s relationship with the Lord. Caring for oneself and one another within our mission community forms the “backbone” of member care. We want to see each person empowered in their spiritual walk and in their personal growth so that the Kingdom of God impacts the world they influence.

In Globe International, we understand that each area of service, whether in Asia, Africa, Europe, Central or South America, has its own difficulties and nuances. We will strive to have a member care team member who is familiar with that particular region. We also will work together with local churches encouraging them to support THEIR missionary through financial support, prayer, helping with rest times (vacations) and retreats.
